PBT is not used very often in automotive applications, but when it is used, it is often used in sensors housings, tail light housings, some trim pieces, side marker light housings, headlight bezels, distributor caps and other applications where you need excellent electrical insulating properties, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. Occasionally, you will see PBT used for door handles, bumpers, and carburetor components. This is the bulk package of welding rod. 1 lb. of PBT welding rod contains approximately 174 ft. rods. Each rod is 12 inches (30 cm) long and 1/8 inch (3 mm) in diameter. Bulk welding rod requires a 10 lb. (4.5 kg) minimum order.
